My partner Joseph and I met in San Antonio over 12 years ago and we have had many adventures.

We understand not everyone will get it. Being different or wanting a different lifestyle is hard to understand for some people. People might think we are crazy to walk away from what we have. I mean, we bought a house in Austin, have the cars, etc. Isn't that what we are brainwashed into believing we are suppose to do from an early age?
But really what do we have? A home we will never truly own? Jobs that are not fulfilling? Bills for things we don't really need?
Joseph and I are fortunate in that we are in total agreement in the lifestyle that is important to us. It is hard to find someone that shares your commitment to things that are so important to your individual goals and dreams. For that, I am truly grateful.
I have been an activist in one form or another most of my life. I was introduced to activism in the 80's during my time in the Houston punk scene. The last six years have been the most active I have been. Being part of Occupy Washington DC really changed me as a person.

I used to keep a journal a long time ago and have wanted to put thought to paper again for a long time, but just never trusted myself enough to do it. I now realize some things are more important than what I think I lack. To some my thoughts and ideas may seem radical, crazy, or a bit off the wall, but as Mr. Lennon wrote:
I hope you will continue to read the next chapter in my life, with sprinkles of my past life here and there, so you can understand what has lead me on this path.
Cool, muchacha! Keep on keeping on. Love you!
