Exhausted, But in a Good Way

We arrived in Pueblo, Colorado on April 22 to visit with Janet Wilson of Pueblo House. Janet is the founder of the OTR Foundation. The foundation owns and operates three houses in Pueblo dedicated to helping the local community. I met Janet during the Occupy Movement and later helped her work on the original house, known as The Pueblo House, for about 2 months. Now Joseph and I are helping her with the organization's music house, which includes a radio station and a place for musicians to play.

Janet now has three houses on the same street dedicated to serving the community: The Pueblo Community House, The Music & Art House, and the Media House. We're staying at the Music & Art House. Loretta is parked next to a famous RV called "The V." Loretta is impressed.

Janet drove "The V" all across the country during the Occupy Movement. She even wrote a book about her experiences called MoVement: The uncensored truth about Occupy. Janet has some crazy stories.

I told Joseph today that I feel like I'm at a playground for adults. We have been so busy digging in the dirt, painting, recycling junk into art, and having all kinds of fun (at least to us ๐Ÿ˜Š).

The days have gone by so fast here. We have been getting our yard "fix" now that we don't have an actual house anymore. We go to bed so exhausted yet wake up ready to tackle something new despite our older bodies telling us otherwise.

We hope everyone is doing well. Kimbo says "hello"and we say good night.
